London is the center of the design universe.  I’ve travelled so many times through Brtiain I have lost count.  Salisbury cathedral, Wiltshire and the southern plains of Thomas Hardy are dear to me.  From London, my friend Martin and I would travel south to see his mothering Wiltshire.  She lived in a 16th century church home for the family of deceased clergy.  My room on the top floor open out onto a sweeping view of the cathedral just across the yard.  It’s one of my favorite items in my collection of memories.
